Quick note, as a few others pointed out James Harden and the Rockets WON the game that he got his 60 point triple double in. Now if you’ll excuse me I’ll be in the corner working on my reading comprehension. Thanks.

On some of the games you expressed your surprise - such as the Harden triple double - 2 important negative factors in Hollingers Gamescore affected his value.....fouls & (more importantly) turnovers, for which JH puts up in high volume.
His 50 point games regularly have 8 turnovers. James is an amazing scorer, but those turnovers (mostly due to his high usage rate) are a killer in this instance.

MJ was not even close to 190 pounds in 1990, he was over 200 at the time of his career high game.

Absolutely ridiculous way to decide anything. The RULES were different completely. In 1978 - 80 they were still using 3 for 2 foul shooting. You could hand check all the way into the 90's etc etc etc. Why do the nut jobs on the internet and in the media keep trying to compare players from the 80's to today's players?
I think everyone can agree that today's players have all the spacing in the world to get a shot off or to get to the foul line. Smothering defense or even team defense is penalized at the charity stripe so no-one does it anymore. You cannot compare players OR stats to the 80's players, it was a different game. If the rules hadn't changed, then (and only then) could you compare players.

A buzzer beater three isn’t more significant than a three to open the game. If it wasn’t for that first three, that buzzer beater may not be enough to win it. Every bucket is significant, the ones at the end of games just feel more significant.

There are many players that could have been better than him and never got the chance to play in the NBA because they were black and living in a racist society, especially down south.

For rebounds I just multiplied them by 1 as there is no tracking of offensive and defensive rebounding.

He basically only played 3 quarters of the game, only took 11 dribbles, was very efficient. It was a complete blowout as a result.. Seems unfair (or undesirable, in my eyes), that someone like the ball-hog Harden is up there.
